Single Review: “No Tomorrow Here Tonight” by Fisher Stevenson

April 15, 2008

It’s not so much his voice but there’s just something about Big Machine’s latest recruit that stands out when you hear this song. Don’t get me wrong his vocals are great and it adds an interesting country feel that’s been lost for a while, but it’s not what makes him stand out here. There’s just something, he’s got the name, the voice, and the style. The song’s content is unique in its own way to as two try to escape memories of their individual past by stopping their concern that what ever went wrong in those relationships could happen again and just loving like there’s no tomorrow.

I think he’s got a lot of potential. I’m not sure how this song may fare, but it’s decent. He’s got the whole package, now all he needs is a sound and signature of his own to help him really stand out. he seems to have that something, now lets see a little more of it.
